I’m Samuel, the owner and baker here at 'SANCHA'.
I moved back to the UK in the summer of 2020, after achieving my dream of living in Tokyo for 7 years.
I have spent my life fascinated and enamoured by Japan and its' culture and have dedicated my life to discovering more about this wonderful country and, in turn, to sharing this knowledge and experience with you.

I love to create interesting, creative products to share with my customers, (especially ones that are inspired by my love of Japanese sweets). I am sure you will find a new taste experience that you will enjoy.

All products will be baked within 24 hours of purchase. I will always aim to make the products as fresh as possible for you to enjoy!

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
SANCHA was established in April 2021 as a home-baking business during the COVID-19 pandemic.​​ Since then, I aim to have products that everyone can enjoy.

Currently, I am still recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury that I sustained in the 2023 and my range is quite limited as I find my way back. As a result, you patience may be required whilst waiting for products made suitable for alternative diets though it is my intention to return with a product range wide enough for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Reducing, recycling and re-using materials.
Transporting products in larger amounts/batches to reduce carbon emissions.
Not using plastic packaging for products that are made in-house.
